Request Data Deletion

At harakacount, you have control over your personal data. This page explains how to delete your account and data, and what information we store.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the harakacount mobile app. The steps depend on your role:

Team members (managers and staff)

1. Open the harakacount app
2. Managers: go to Settings. Staff: go to More
3. Tap Delete Profile
4. Confirm your decision

Restaurant owners: deleting your profile removes the entire restaurant and all of its data:

1. Open the harakacount app
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete Restaurant
4. Select a reason and type your restaurant name to confirm

Option 2: Email Request

You can request account deletion by emailing us at:

[email protected]

Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data We Store

We store the following categories of data:

Account Information

• Email address
• Name
• Phone number (if provided)
• Account role and permissions

Business Data

• Inventory records and stock counts
• Supplier and delivery information
• Waste tracking records
• Cost and sales data

Technical Data

• Device identifiers
• Session information
• Activity logs

What Happens When You Delete

For Team Members (Non-Owners)

When you delete your account:

• Your personal account information is deleted or anonymized
• Your login credentials are permanently removed
• All active sessions are terminated
• Operational records you created (inventory counts, waste entries) are retained for business continuity but are no longer linked to your identity

For Restaurant Owners

As a restaurant owner, you can delete your entire restaurant account, which will permanently remove:

• All user accounts associated with the restaurant
• All inventory, supplier, and operational data
• All historical records and reports

This action is irreversible. We recommend exporting your data before deletion.

Data Retention

After account deletion:

• Personal account data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days
• Backup copies are purged within 90 days
• Some records may be retained longer if required by law

Data Export

Before deleting your account, you can export your data through the app's export features or by contacting support. We will provide your data in a portable format within 30 days of your request.
